What is Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy?

What can I expect for my treatment?

We collect a small (about 2 oz) sample of blood during scheduled outpatient treatment. The blood will be placed into a centrifuge to separate the plasma and fibrin from the red blood cells. The centrifuge concentrates the platelets, fibrin, and white blood cells which contain a growth factor.
